Depiction of the tribes represented from Left to Right: Two Blackfoot, Odawa, Chippewa (Daniel’s great aunt), Kaw, Cherokee, Osage, Tohono O’odham, Taos, Hopi, San Ildefonso, San Felipe family, Zuni, Acoma, Navajo couple. In this painting the main concept was One Women/ One Tribe. The left half of the painting represents tribes located in the four cardinal directions illustrated by the use of the four sacred colors, also associated to the four sacred plants. On the right half of the painting the artist depicts the diversity of the tribes encountered in one specific region such as the South West.
