The eighth section of the World Longest Native American Painting was created in 2016.

Depiction of the tribes represented from Left to Right:  Takelma, Klamath, Umatilla, Siletz, Spokane, Yakima, Nez Pierce, Shoshone (Sacawejea), Chippewa, Crow, Mandan, Hidatsa, Arikara, Osage, Pawnee, Kansa, Illinii, Ioway, Otoe.

In this section of the project Daniel Ramirez documents the Tribes that Lewis and Clark would have encountered during their expedition guided by Sacawejea, holding here her baby. This important trail extending from Iowa to Oregon was essential in the discovery of the West.
